[HelpDesk] help with ldraw

I am having difficulty getting ldraw to run.  I am trying to install it on a
Windows 2000 machine and Windows XP.  I click on the ldraw tools installer.
Then I download the ldraw_setup_2006g1_full i.exe.  After that I double
click on the .exe file and all that happens is a black screen pops up for
only about one second and then goes away and nothing happens.  Is there
something that I am doing wrong?
