[HelpDesk] i still get stuck at registering fonts

What operating system are you running?
I have seen this type of behavior occur on my development machine.
It has to do with the installer trying to finish things up but the operating system telling it to wait and wait typically because font registration is an ADMIN function in windows 2000 and XP.

Are you running as admin?  Note that the installer is NOT installing any fonts but for some odd reason windows and the installer feel the need to look at your font folder. =/  

When you have canceled the installer are you left with an LDRAW folder?
Look for it under C:\LDraw.

If you have one do you have a sub-folder called Apps?
Are there any new icons on your desktop?

Which method of the installer did you choose?  Basic, Intermediate, or Advance?
