Are you trying to place an image of the model on your desktop?
If so here is a rendered image of the final model.
  http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Ben/train-engines/BR23/17_br23_mirror.jpg

The .mpd is the actual model file that you can use to create your own rendered images. If you choose to do that you will need to install L3P and POV-Ray at the min. to render the model with whatever settings you want.

If you are trying to do the 2nd option and have not used POV-Ray before then please read this tutorial.

    Hello,

i have found a building instruction for a wonderful steam locomotive and would like to make it visible on my computer. The file is to be found under brickshelf, if you enter BR23 as search and open the first icon. It was made by Ben Beneke and has the file name 98_br23_mpd.mht
Is there something I can do to see pictures instead of 0001xxx?

Thanks in advance for your reply and help,

  Irene Borgstädt
