Hello, I've been having lots of fun with the Ldraw program but I still have a lot of questions. Resently I've been trying to make seperate models that you can import into a file. Like say you make a custom minifigure and you wanna put it into another file. How do you save it into a model file that you can just pull up and insert into any file, like you would a normal lego part?

Look at this article to learn how to and sub-models into your main model file.

My second question is how do you rotate a brick to a custom setting. See I've been trying to make a model of a lego computer. You guys have the parts for the model in your files but I don't know how to rotate the hinge piece. I know that you can rotate it 90 degrees and turn it, but how do you rotate it in between those angles?
Hope you can answer my questions, thanks.
This one is a bit tricker. You can rotate at 90 degrees by default on MLCAD. You can also set it to 45 degrees or 1 degree! If you look at your MLCAD toolbar you will see 3 boxes one with a 4x4 grid, another is a 8x8 grid and then one that looks like a mesh. By default it is set to 4x4 grid so parts move in 90 degrees (rotation) or move by 1 stud to make building simpler.

If you set it to FINE or the mesh grid you will rotate 1 degree at a time so you have more control for the hinges. Use the X, Y and Z arrows to do the part rotation. You will have to spend some time however lining up the parts (technic especially) manually.
