I'm trying to get ldraw_setup_2006q3_full_j.exe to work.
I selected Intermediate and a folder on an external hard drive, K:\media\usbdisk\Windows\LDraw, installing all the Desktop Icons. After a few seconds of copying files, I get an error popup: irsetup Access to an unnamed file was denied.
What ends up in the LDraw directory is:

L3p
L3P.EXE

povwin3.exe
povwin35.exe
Any idea what's wrong?
