We are still having problems with the AIO installer getting downloaded from the main server.
Users are reporting that when they download the file and double click on the .exe all that happens is a DOS window appears very quickly and then nothing. I too have experienced this when I download the file from the main server.
If I download the file from the "not really there backup" server
http://wc.theartofwarfare.net/ldraw_setup_2006q1_full_i.exe
the installer works fine.
I'm not sure what the issue is per say other than before we have the "write in the text you see here" page prior to the download we did not see this issue. Or if you do a direct download of the file as is the case of the "backup server" the issue is not present.
Note that the backup server CANNOT be used for the download of this file as it is a server I can personally use every now and then for this type of download.

Sirs:
I just downloaded the Windows LDraw Tools Installer (47 MB
ldraw_setup_2006q1_full_i.exe file) and attempted to install it on
Windows 2000 SP4. When I double clicked on the application, a DOS
window appeared for a few seconds then disappeared. I tried it a couple
times and one time the dos window stayed on the screen with an error
indicating there was insufficent memory. Just in case the file was
corrupted, I decided to download it again. When I attempted to delete
the file, I received a sharing violation and the file cannot be
deleted. I even rebooted my computer in safe mode, and I still cannot
delete this file.
The installation page indicates that I should see a Windows installer
screen displayed. I never saw this window.
If you have any suggestions about how to correct this, I would
appreciate it.
Thanks
Tim
